Problem with editing Notehead sets

Hi all,

I’m trying to create a new Notehead set called “no notehead” for use when creating some harp glisses. I’m then selecting the note in the new notehead set and deleting the notehead itself in the edit mode. I click okay, all well and good.

But, it seems to be creating an override for every note value less than a half note (minim) for the default normal notehead set as well, which means most of those notes then lose their note heads in my score!

Any ideas?

You can hide the noteheads of any notehead set design, if that helps?

Individual noteheads can appear in multiple notehead sets, and editing the underlying notehead affects its appearance in all sets that it’s part of.

You could need to duplicate the noteheads first, to make sure that any edits you make to them only apply to the current notehead set.

Aah, perfect - that was the knowledge/step I was missing - thanks.

I hadn’t realised that individual notepads could appear in other sets and that I needed to duplicate.
