Problem with MIDI remote mapping assistant

I’ll select the bit of the MIDI keyboard to program, i’ll select the function, i’ll click apply mapping. Then, when i select the bit on the map, suddenly the function is gone. I’ve been messing around with this controller all day, and i’m at my wits end. I’ve searched forums and i can’t find any solution for my exact problem, please help.

I’ve had that with 14 but not 15.

Solved it on my own. The function being gone was in fact irrelevant, turns out the reason none of the knobs were working is because i still had the remote mapping assistant open. It must be closed for any of the MIDI buttons/knobs/faders to actually work -_-
