Problem with normalisation audio in Cubase LE AI Elements 10.5

After recording a track I use frequently Audio/Processes/Normalize.
In earlier versions of Cubase such as 9.5 this function behaved perfect, I chose normally 0 dB or near.

In Cubase LE AI Elements 10.5 the function behaves strangely: instead of bringing the track to 0dB or nearby, the recorded vocal becomes not not 0dB but instead “flattens” to nearly invisible in the trackview and audible. Regardless of using up/down handle or moving the control.

Who knows what to do?

Make sure you have the latest Cubase 10.5.20 installed.

Could you try in Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?

Problem solved, eventually disabeling preferences was not needed.
