Problem with shortcuts

Hello everyone,

I would like to understand why some shortcuts don’t work for me. Type for the creation of the slash notation the assigned schortcut does not work.

What is the reason for this?

Ruggiero, there can be a few reasons for it.
What keyboard language do you use (some keys might be “dead” keys)?
Which shortcut did you assign for this specific case?

After Dorico update, key commands aren't working properly

Just updated to Dorico 5.1.70.2200, and now key commands aren’t functioning properly. I’ve seen the other related posts on this topic, but it hasn’t gotten to the cause of my problem. I think you were talking about Slash Regions or Slash Notation.

1.) which shortcut did you try to set up for “Create Slash Region” (which key or which key combination)?

2.) Dorico’s default shortcut for “Create Slash Voice” is Alt+Shift+V

good you got it working; out of interest (and for the benefit of other users visiting this thread), which shortcut did you finally assign?

I assigned the default shortcut (Option-Shift-V, with Mac computer) and now it works.
