Problem with sound playback

I am currently experiencing a problem with playback. I am somewhat at a loss. It does not work when I create a new document, nor when I want to listen to an existing one. I can’t hear any notes. When I’m in the playback window, there’s no bar in the fader. I’ve restarted both Dorico and my computer. I’ve also reset everything to factory settings in the settings. Does anyone have any ideas? Here is my diagnostic report. Unfortunately, I can’t interpret it.

Side issue: I wanted to check the ‘Steinberg Download Assistant’ to see if there were any updates or if I needed/should install anything new. But I can’t connect to the server.

Have you set the audio output in Edit > Device Setup?

You may have to download a new version of the SDA from Steinberg’s Support > Download pages. There was an issue with an expired certificate of some older versions of the app.

Wonderful. I was able to reinstall SDA and it works. Everything is up to date.
