Hi @Guillermo23 , thanks for the diagnostics. Contained is also a freeze dump of the audio engine where it gets stuck during initialization of the MIDI ports. In this case it is a port of a Korg device (I can’t tell the model from the callstack). What if you disconnect all Korg devices, does Dorico still freeze in?
Thanks for your reply! I already disconnected it, and it’s working again.
My Korg device is a microKEY Air. It seems this is a problem with MIDI devices and a recent Windows 11 update (I’m saying this because I’m having a similar issue with Studio One). Dorico is already working well now.
Have you had cases with a similar situation recently?
Yes, there were a few other cases with the same symptoms.
Btw, I have also one of those Korg MicroKey devices.
I bought for exactly that, testing MIDI via BlueTooth,
but that Korg device brought everything but fun.
The hardware is solid and fine, bu the software? Terrible.
I can hardly run it via BlueTooth, but at least via USB cable it works well.
