If I start a trill in the middle of a tie string, the portion of the note before the trill begins does not play.back.
I can reproduce this, both with guitar and cello in NotePerformer. One workaround is to use a slur instead of a tie, before the trill.
When a trill is entered at a position within a tie chain, the note prior to the trill doesn’t sound until the trill begins.
