I have a license on a cubase 11 pro usb dongle, and now I bought an update/upgrade for cubase 13pro, and I have a problem with the update/upgrade, it tells me that I don’t have a license to update, otherwise my usb dongle is connected to a PC. otherwise I wrote to Kubase, they didn’t answer me anything for 5 days, I asked them for a refund and they didn’t answer me, Kubase has become such an unprofessional company, I wouldn’t want to use their services anymore, why do they have such bad support, as long as they don’t fix the problem or don’t refund me i will sue steinberg for fraud the old steinberg was very professional unlike now
It looks like your Cubase 11 is upgraded to Cubase 12. So I think you have perhaps made a mistake purchasing an upgrade from Cubase 11 rather than from Cubase 12?

there is no license to update is the way for Steinberg to stop you from buying more copies at upgrade prices. Now you can run Cubase 11 with your dongle and you can run Cubase 13 once you manage to do it the correct way.
do you have the Cubase 13 product in your SDA Steinberg download assistant? just try and run Cubase 13 after you have installed it. also you could look in your app Activation Manager where you can active your software

Your Cubase Pro 13 license is pending, because it’s waiting to the correct update.
Start eLicenser Control Center and select the USB-eLicenser. What licence do you see? Is it Cubase Pro 11, or is there any more info (like Grace Period…)?
If there is the Grace Period…, start Steinberg Activation Manager, click on the user icon and start Grace Period check. Then you will see either Cubase Pro 12 or 13 licence.
If you get Cubase Pro 12, ask for refund of your wrong update and buy the correct one.
I have cubase 11 pro, and only it gives me the licenser, I don’t have any grace period, I tried and with refresh it doesn’t give me a grace period. so I know exactly what I have bought, but the license does not want to work

OK, as we can see, Cubase Pro 11 license shows (Upgraded to Cubase…), which means, you can use either Cubase Pro 12 or Cubase Pro 13 already (depending on the date, you activated your Cubase Pro 11).
