So I purchased my UR12 maybe a year ago? I had Windows 7 and everything worked perfectly fine. I have since moved and upgraded to Windows 10. I tried using my UR12 for the first time since I moved and upgraded and now it’s no longer working. It says it needs to restart the computer to apply the proper changes but after many restarts, it keeps insisting that I restart. The hardware is stuck in this loop?
Are you installing the latest driver from Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver Updates and Downloads | Steinberg ? If not, please do so now.
After the restart with the UR12 connected directly to the computer (not through a hub) if you still get an error can you please post a screen shot of the error? Is your “Power Source” on the back set to USB? Thank you.
