I originally posted this back in July but wasn’t able to get this resolved. Thought I would try one more time. Desperately trying to get this resolved if anyone knows how to pass this along to a Dorico team member.
I’m not able to input multiple notes in a chord without advancing the caret forward and then back to the chord. I will input a note, then hit the arrow keys up and down but the shadow note doesn’t move.
I’m using Dorico Pro 5 v5.1.81.2225 on Mac 15.5
I’m using the Dorico version of speedy entry as laid out in the 5.1.60 update.

I double click to get the caret at the beginning of the measure.

I hit Q to activate the chord function

I move the shadow note with the arrow keys to my first chord note and hit the corresponding rhythmic number

Then the caret freezes and doesn’t move up or down to any other note

I then move the caret forward with the right arrow key

I move it back to the chord with the left arrow key

I then hit either the up or down arrow key and move the shadow note to a new chord note
