I searched for something that might help with my problem but came up empty. For some reason Cubase 14 (and ) 13 doesn’t want to recognize my audio inputs. Output works just fine. I use a Beringer x Air-18 both as a mixer and audio interface diving self powered speakers. I Set My audio interface to the Beringer Asio driver and set my inputs and outputs correctly. Input on 1 and 2 and output to 3 and 4. All 18 channels are checked in Cubase and all show as active connected, so I can choose any combination in the routing. Yes I’m aware I would need to go in and set the input and output to those channels I choose. The problem is no sound is getting to the track in Cubase. I’m pretty darn sure my routing is configured correctly. There has to be something I’m missing. BTW all communication is done by USB from Beringer to PC running Window 10. I control the mixer via Ethernet from the PC. I don’t know what else I can give you so any ideas/help is appreciated.
Thanks,
John

Check the o/s microphone privacy settings.
If that’s not it can you post screencaps of your audio connections input tab and of your track inspector showing input routing.
