Problems with QuickLook and Icons of Dorico 4.0.20

It seems as if with macOS 12.3 all older files not so far saved with version 4.0.20 of Dorico take much too long to show the Dorico Icon in the finder windows. This would not be so much of a problem if I would not need the database app TapForms with aliases of Dorico files.
Here it take sometimes half a minute to put a Dorico file to my database entries.
I only have this problems with Dorico files and with no others I do attach to my database. Thus it must be the problem of Dorico and QuickLook / Dorico Icons.

Is there a possibility to switch the Quicklook feature in Dorico 4? It makes more trouble to me than it helps me.

If you don’t want preview images saved for a project, you can turn that off in Project Info. I don’t know whether this can be saved with defaults.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your reply.
It will not really solve my problem but good to know anyway.

Kind regards

I think this is a problem with how the QuickLook plugin handles projects that don’t have a preview. It should be fixed in the next Dorico 4 update.

I think and hope so too

Just to inform. Update 4.0.30 fixed the Quick Look bug.

Great! Thanks for letting us know.
