Processor Spikes Recorded By Cubase

Hello,

When I record audio in Cubase, every once and awhile there will be a processor spike. This would be fine, but unfortunately, the audio track ends up recording a glitch when it spikes. Is there a way to turn this off? It’s annoying to have to re-record an otherwise good track.

Mac or PC ?
You would have to find out what is causing the spike, if it is something inside Cubase, like a plugin.
Or it is something in your system, like wifi access that is causing the spike.
If on PC latencyMon can help finding out.
