Product activated but still not showing under My Products in Steinberg Download Assistant

Hello Steinberg Team,

I recently activated my SpectraLayers license using a valid code. The activation was successfully recognized in the Steinberg Activation Manager, only after I redeemed the code via the Website, but the product still does not appear under “My Products” in the Steinberg Download Assistant.

I was only able to download and activate the software after registering the code directly through the Steinberg website. That solved the issue regarding activation, but as of now, the product is still missing from the Download Assistant.

I assume this might be a temporary synchronization issue with the servers, but I wanted to share this as feedback in case it helps improve the process.

If there’s anything else I should do on my end, I’m happy to assist. I’m an active member of the Steinberg forums and really appreciate the quality of your software and support.

Thank you for your attention and great work!

Best regards,
Bruno Marques Siqueira Mendes

Mine was an Upgrade from Spectralayers Pro 11 to Spectralayers Pro 12.

Mine too. As far as I can tell, the feedback given by Timo Wildenhain regarding the missing entry under “My Products” in the SDA applies to SpectraLayers 12 independently of the upgrade path.

I upgraded sl pro 11 to pro 12 a few hours ago. Flawless install/activation etc and working fine here on Windows 11.

Shows up as “mine” both at my steinberg dot net acct and also (now after running the install processes)..also as one of “my products” in the sda area.

Same problem. Upgrade showing in account but not showing in downloader.

And you did first first first click to download slpro12 from the tab one-down from “my products”?

ie…you do/did install pro12 from the “all products” tab at sda…then…access code…then…activate at sb dot net…then…start up sl pro12 for the first time …then exit the program…THEN…slpro12 shows as a “my product” in sda.

Just recapping those steps in that order as…for me…my install/activation/startup etc was quick & flawless

Fixed the problem by downloading from “All Products (separate licenses required)” tab. Does not show under “My Products” tab.

Yep. Did the same. It works but does not show up under My Products.

Was it an upgrade or a first time install?

Thanks, and great job on the pristine machine. Let’s wait for a fix — the installation wasn’t very smooth this time

Dear @TimoWildenhain

Nice to meet you.

We had just opened a thread focused on this exact issue when @Martin90 pointed out that you had already mentioned it in the general announcements — almost a coincidence!

Just to clarify: we’re discussing the case where SpectraLayers 12 is activated in the Steinberg Activation Manager but doesn’t appear under “My Products” in the Steinberg Download Assistant.

Since our thread is focused only on this topic, could you please keep us updated here as well? It would help those following the issue directly.

Thanks for the support — and congratulations on SpectraLayers 12, it’s a fantastic release!

Best regards,

Same here, code accepted for v12 pro upgrade from 11 pro, but not shown in my products.

Win11pro OS., current version Download Assistant.

Thread indicates this seems to be a known, likely widespread, problem, so I’ll go to sleep and try tomorrow.
