Progressive rock album

I recently got a membership on distrokid, so I decided it was time to release some material recorded by a band I played in 10 years ago. Before posting it I decided to correct some issues with those mixes. I’ve got better mix tools now, and a better ear for a good mix than I had 10 years ago. I could not believe I thought the bass guitar or the bass drum and snare on the old mixes was any good.
The material is inspired by classic progressive rock done by groups like Yes, Genesis, Kansas, Starcastle and Rush.

Yes , this certainly has that vibe and feel, the first thing that came to mind was that I really liked the bass sound. The arrangements have some imaginative variations which keep one interested, and the playing is great all 'round. This is right in the pocket of British '70s prog rock, a very good band.

Good stuff there mate!

This is nice stuff. I was a prog and fusion head in the 70’s. You definitely nailed some of that vibe. Nice playing too!
