Ive read that if you use project back up the original files remain and if they are deleted then the back up project has missing files.
Is there a true way of completly archiving a cubase project, any help would be great
I’ve used Project Backup and everything copies over…but I don’t use external references, all audio files, etc. are kept in the original project folder 
If you use “Back up Project” the media files will be copied into the new folder and the references in the project will be changed to these new copies. Ie. nothing points to the old project.
This applies only to files that you can see in the Pool. If plugins use samples the sample files will not be included.
