Is there a way to tell Cubase to always open a song with the screen exactly as you left it the last time? Would really be nice to have the take of a song that I"m working on be the one I see when Cubase opens the project.

In the File>Preferences menu (under “General”) there is a place to choose how projects are opened. Choose “Always” from there.
At least you would think this should work. For me, it works… sometimes. Weird wild stuff.
