I am wondering whether others also would find it great to enrich the selection criteria (upper half of the PLE) by including something like “state” which includes “selected”, “record enabled”, etc. etc.
Or is that already there and I cannot find it?

Ah, i see - many thanks! I was confused by the wording “Event”… the term is used differently everywhere else in cubase…
