My #1 feature request would be to reduce save times. Could there be a buffer that allows you to continue working on the project while Cubase writes data to a new file? I’m constantly making dozens of save files, for fear that my project may become corrupted while Cubase is overwriting the file. A great feature would be
-Continous and automatic saving of project files (Cubase constantly saves by rotating through a set of 12 different .cpr files etc.). No more waiting 1-2 minutes for Cubase to save.
-Fast and nearly instantaneous saving. On big projects Cubase can take a up to a full minute everytime it saves. It shouldn’t be required to re-write every piece of data…There should be a way to streamline this, or at the very least find a way to save in the background like described above.
