Project Template Not Showing

After updating a project template by overwriting it, the template does not show in the list of project templates. I verified that the file does indeed exist in the folder path AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 15_64\Project Templates but it does not show. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hi,

This is a known and already discussed issue (please, search the forum). The templates show up after some time.

I initiated a search on the term Project Template and nothing related to my issue was returned by the query. I’ve been with Cubase since version 12 and this is the first time that I’ve experienced this issue since updating to the recent version of 15. Is this an issue that only pertains to 15?

Hi,

Yes, the issue is Cubase 15 only.

Hi,

You are on Windows, right? I cannot replicate the issue on my side on Mac.

While unlikely to have affected multiple people, I’m compelled to at least suggest that users ensure it is enabled in the Hub Settings:

I don’t think we’ve had the option to hide it before.

Hi,

You are right, this option is new. But (if I understand it right), the users report, the project appears after some time.

The “immediate application of UI changes” behavior is also new: meaning that now if you add/remove paths, change options, etc., those changes are immediately reflected in the UI. And there is no “cancel” button to revert back to one’s original settings. So it’s at least something to keep an eye out for.

Yes, I am on Windows. It does show up eventually after restarting the program or the computer.
