Opening a project with Cubase 10, I noticed the Project window titlebar says, “Cubase Version 9.5.50 Project” but if I create a new project, that titlebar says “Cubase Pro Project”. Why? Is there a difference? Is there a conversion process to v10 that would make Cubase 10 more efficient?
It says 9.5.50 (or whatever) when the the file you open is saved in an earlier version of Cubase. When you see those version numbers if you just save the file the Project will be in the current version (e.g. Cubase 10.x) and simply say “Cubase Pro Project”.
It’s been like this close to forever.
