Project Window undocking.

Forgive me if this has popped up before.
I currently use one monitor and when I open an edit window/mixer and go back to the project window I find it undocked. How can I get it to ‘stay’! ?

Cubase V6 Windows 7.

First, this is indeed an old topic, well worn topic and it doesn’t work the way you want it to. But, there are several ways to deal with it.

  1. don’t maximize the window. Just drag the edges to fill the screen. Now it won’t move as you open child windows.

  2. use the window sets so that you can hot key back to maximized.

This problems produces windows, which is not possible maximize, like Mixer, VST Instrument (F11), and other. Editors doesn’t do this.

This is on Windows only.

In my opinion, maximize window is necessary on Windows. The best solution, for me, is to use workspace. So I made Mixer Workspace, for example. And I set F3 shortcut to this Workspace.
