Hi
I need to prolong an fading ending audio note 1-2 sec, what is smoothest way to do this ? It has to be in high quality.
Hans H
I time warping it.
if the quality is not good enough then
I am duplicating the ending of the fade out several times, lowering each one by 6-9db (use ear) relative to the previous and crossfade them
Thank you, I will try that.
I tried bouncing that last note, and made it musical in the pool and slow down the tempo just for 2 seconds. But changing the tempo replaced all the other events in the arrange window.
Yeah, it will do that.
Give the time warp tool a try, maybe the quality is ok for what you trying to achieve.
I always “Flatten Realtime Processing” after warps to unload my system’s power and don’t get any artifacts or so on playback.
Try this
- Select the Audio & on the Info Line set it to your desired Time Stretching algorithm
- Split/Cut the Audio where you want the stretching to begin
- Change the Select (arrow) Tool to the option Sizing Applies Timestretch
- Drag the Audio’s lower right corner to stretch it
Thank you, that was very easy and sounds great.
