Proper launch sequence?

Hi,
I am wondering what is the ‘proper’ launch sequence. I use a Mac, Cubase Artist and have a Saffire Pro 40 audio interface.

Do I turn on the Mac, then launch Cubase, then turn on the Saffire?

Or, do I turn on the Saffire, then turn on the Mac, then launch Cubase?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

It doesn’t matter. Cubase will recognize your Audi Device, even when it is already running, and you can switch the driver then.

But from the practical point of view, I would recommend you to switch the Audio Device on first, and then launch Cubase.
