The optimal interaction with Properties Panel has been discussed in numerous threads; yet, I couldn’t quickly find whether this suggestion has been already mentioned. Sorry, if it’s been.
The Properties Panel has numerous switches that offer just two choices; e.g. above/below, inside/outside, up/down
In such a case, it might be quite convenient, if clicking the switch would automatically select the option that is opposite to the current default.
The reasoning is simple: if I go to properties panel, chances are that I want to change the respective default option.
For example, I find it very convenient, that clicking ‘Slur-relative position’ switch, automatically selects (highlights) the option ‘inside’.
