See pic below. I know I could have done this as text instead of creating a PT, but I thought it odd that the PT (selected) forces the multibar rest number up.
Side note: it would be nice to be able to center- or right-align text-based playing techniques.
If you move ‘one player only’ to the previous measure, under ‘rit.’, does that solve the flying multirest number? That’s probably where it should be anyway.
Or maybe you can turn off “Avoid collisions” in Engrave mode, the bottom panel?
The idea of writing an instruction in the score that one player should “rit” and the others should not made me smile. I find that happens quite often without any instructions in the score 
(I know what you meant, of course - ignore my strange sense of humour).
