if the range tool is still selected, you can highlight a range and hit the “A” key which by default makes a fade the length of the high lighted area, no changing tools.
Ok, I’ve got a new system and am giving Nuendo another go after having used PT almost exclusively last year.
Question:
When I edit I sometimes need to extend event length which requires me to use the selection tool, yet when I want to cut to cursor or fade to/from cursor or more importantly play back from cursor I need to be using the range tool plus edit mode - Is there a way to extend events without toggling back to the select tool?
This is slowing me down something fierce and makes me hate not having the PT multitool…
As a matter of fact, I think there should be a general overhaul of editing because there are a few things that don’t make sense to me…
