I have downloaded WL12 but cannot activate. I still have elicenser and didn’t have the newest version. I have downloaded the latest eLC (eliceneser 6.12.10.1326) and activated the “maintenance” which completed successfully. Download Assistant. I updated eLC but still get no licenses found when I try to activate WL12.
I’ve been working on this for almost 3 hours and still can’t activate it.
Now when I run Download Assistant, and enetr the download code it says I don’t have a license. HELP.
I just tried Cubase 12pro never completes the license check. I can’t use ANY Steinberg product.
Have you tried Steinberg Activation Manager? Is your license an upgrade? Wavelab 12 doesn’t require an elicenser.
Yes, I just upgraded from WL11. When I try to run WL, it does a license check…
Activation Manager just hangs up and I have to abort it.
Can you try to uninstall Activation Manager using this and reinstall?
This might wipe out something I need. I’m very wary of this.
This was already used by someone in this forum, and they had no trouble with this software. Also, can you see if you are using the right email for your Steinberg Account?
It is correct.
I changed it several months ago and I can’t log in with the old email.
I have a feeling the email or id is mismatched somewhere.
Here you will know what products you have.
It shows NO products now.
There will be a menu Show Steinberg Licensing Based Products
You can also see ELicenser Based Products
If license is still not there may be your License is on another email of yours.
Still nothing. How do I determine that the it’s under my old email? and how to fix?
Sign out of webpage, then try to sign in with different email. There is also reset password option.
When I try to login with my old email, I never get the email validation code.
Ask the steinberg official support.
I tried but when I try to enter the product I’m inquiring about, WL isn’t there now. Probably because I don’t seem to have any licences in my account now???
Maybe it is on another email of yours and not the one you changed.
Or as PG mentioned you can write to info@steinberg.de
My only option is email since I can’t issue a ticket. The email from support issued a ticket for me however. Now I wait…
Also in this forum, if you click on your profile picture on Top Right, double click on profile icon on the drop-down menu, and click on preferences on the top right, you can see your associated Steinberg ID.
