Hello everyone, I was wondering if after the instrument change I can put a slur between the E of the two bars. I have tried pressing S or T, but without any succes.
You want an instrument change during a held note?? Or is the instrument change placed too early?
BTW: if you really want the instrument change there, doesn’t the player need at least a tiny rest to grab the other flute? I know flutists can change rapidly, they just throw whatever they hold in their lap, but it’ll still take at least a second.
OT, but I’m curious: what instrument is that on the second staff? Bass recorder, perhaps? It’s the only one I know that’s sometimes written with the octave-up bass clef.
I wanted an instrument change during the held note as the second staff is for singing while playing so it doesn’t require any rest.
Perhaps it would be better to have two players (one for the vocal, the other for the instrumental) and a single part layout that combines them. You can hide the silent one if you prefer in both score and part.
