I’m wondering if someone can help with a Wavelab equalizer question. I’m using an old computer with Windows 7 and using Wavelab 6. This has been adequate, or so it seems, but there is a problem with the VST, Q equalizer in the Effects panel. It does some things well, but at other times it does not make an equal change in sound to the preview form of it. I mean by this that when the equalizer is up, you can click on Bypass and the sound of the equalization is off, then click on and one clearly hears the promised change. However, it seems that the equalization, when completed and the music file saved, only does a diminished result of what was asked. Is this a common problem? Is there anything out there in terms of equalization controls, that would be compatible with Wavelab 6?
