Hello I’d like to report a bug in Cubase 15
When soloing or muting multiple midi tracks with Q-link activated, all selected tracks get their midi channel parameter set to the same channel, as if I had just changed it manually.
Right now it doesn‘t seem to happen with other parameters or other types of tracks
Hi, can you perhaps be a bit more precise what it is you do and what the result is, and what happens, maybe even with some screenshots, before and after?
I tried to reproduce it by guessing what you did, but couldn’t.
Confirmed.
Example: 4 MIDI tracks, set to channels 1, 2, 3, and 4.
All of these tracks are selected and linked with Q-Link.
Mute (or Solo) of one Track is activated.
Result: All 4 tracks are set to the same channel.
This behavior only occurs in C15, not in C14.
Yep, my bad, I did the same, but in C14, where it works without problems…
I can definitely reproduce it in C15 (Elements). This is a regression bug imho.
I would suggest also opening a support ticket with Steinberg, maybe linking to this thread.
