We should be able to toggle the mixer Q-Link and Abs states regardless of which window in Nuendo is active. I often select multiple clips at the same time as a group which automatically selects the tacks and want to quickly enable Abs Q-Link to mix that group then toggle off right after.
Having to select the mixer to do this hundreds and hundreds of times in a mix is a waste of time.
Have you tried assigning them to a key command?
Yep. for me the key command only works when the mixer window has the focus with the grey border around it.
If I select the key command when the edit window has the focus nothing happens.
If I hit alt when the edit window has focus the mix Q-link temporarily goes into Suspend but only while I hold the alt key
I use this feature quite a bit mixing in Dolby Atmos. I usually use the mixer for this feature and rarely ever turn off Q-link but it would be annoying to have to hilight the mixer to turn it on and off. I use to be able to select/de-select tracks in the mixer holding down Ctrl key and clicking the top header but in 15 it only works with the bottom header. Pretty annoying but I still love this program.
