Q. why I don't see the latest Dorico update 6.2.0 in my download assistance?

So the app is 6.2? Then you don’t need to install it again!

If it’s not 6.2, then just install 6.2 from the SDA.

@benwiggy is exactly correct. As a new user, however, I was expecting the “update” to populate an update/upgrade section above my installed software as demonstrated on the left side of the screen as we have seen in the past. It does NOT do this. On the right side of the screen where your installed software is listed, click on “Install” to the right of “Dorico 6.2 Application Installer.” I find this inconsistent with past updates but I may not be remembering correctly.
