I’m seeing strange behaviour in Cubase when automating QC data.
If I assign a particular MIDI CC to a QC and then Write Automation, using my external controller, the automation data appears as an Automation track under the MIDI data track, as I expect.
However, if I choose a plugin parameter in the QC dropdown list and record that, it appears as an Automation track under the INSTRUMENT track. Why is that, and more importantly can I change this default behaviour ? It’s pretty confusing having things appearing in different places.
