Apologies if this has been posted previously… I’m on Nuendo 14, but I thought that the Cubase forum would be a good place for this question. I have nested drum folders which contain group routing tracks. A “master” Drum folder, and then a folder (with group routing track within the folder) for kick in, kick out, and kick sub, and then a similar folder / group track for snare top and bottom, and then the same approach for toms, etc.
Is it possible to quantize the entire “parent” folder together for all the drums? I see all the tracks in the sample editor when I’m reviewing the hitpoints, but it looks like only the first group (kick drums in my case) are being sliced and moved. The other sub folders are unaffected.
I know in Pro Tools that tracks can belong to more than one group, and you can select the different groups for different purposes, but I’m using the sub-folder workflow to try to accomplish a similar workflow and efficiency - since Cubase tracks don’t work like Pro Tools with regard to groups.
Is this even possible? I want to be able to treat them all as one big group for the purposes of group editing in Cubase.
