This has been a long time nag for me from way earlier versions of cubase I always expected this to be solved on a new version, so here it is -
Some times when you ‘quantize ends’ a short note it will make it virtually zero length (depends on the iQ %, I use %60 usually)
That’s because the closest grid is actually the one the note begins on.
But that doesn’t make any sense music-wise. there is no need for 0 length notes!
Would be nice to just prevent this from happening. and just quantize the ‘end’ of the note to the nearest grid set in the quantize options unless it’s the starting point, then quantize it to the nearest one after it.
