Quantize to beat track

I’m pretty new to Cubase so bear with me. I used to use Cakewalk quite a bit a while back.

I want to readjust a piano part to match the beats and bars. I just sequenced with no regard to a metronome. In Sonar I would go back and lay a beat track and then Cakewalk would adjust the tempo to match the timing. It was all very slick.

I have Cubase 4 AI. Does this software have that functionality?

I believe it does, although I’ve never tried to do it myself. There’s a couple of places to get information on this, firstly there’s a stack on very good instructional videos on Youtube aqbout how to do various things in Cubase. Failing that, you can always search the manual for quantise.
