Can Dorico 5 do metric modulations? I’m shifting from 4/4 to 12/8 and I want the quarter note in 4/4 to become a dotted quarter in 12/8 (i.e. the beat stays the same). Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!
Yes – select the barline or the first item in the 12/8 bar, open the tempo popover with Shift+T, and type q=q. and then Enter.
