Hope everyone is having a great day! I created a pickup bar in 6/8 time (6/8, 2). However, it created two 8th rests instead of a single quarter rest. How do I change the two 8th rests into a single quarter rest? Thanks for the help!
I consider this the correct notation. Quarter rests (or dotted quarter rests) should only appear on beat 1 or 4 in 6/8 bar.
If you really want a quarter rest, you can force it.
Then how do I force it?
