Quaver = crochet

Morning,

I can’t for the life of me work out how to write quaver (8th note) = crochet (quarter note) on my score (as a tempo marking). Can anyone help?

Dorico doesn’t have support for metric modulations yet. You’ll have to create it via a Shift-X text item instead and position it in Engrave mode.

To get the symbols, you can set use Bravura Text and copy and paste from https://w3c.github.io/smufl/gitbook/tables/individual-notes.html
