I’m working on some ADR in a large project, and I received individual recordings (wav files). The current dialogue track is a single stereo track. I tried to use the audio alignment tool to select a portion of the audio dialogue from the source track and select my replacement audio, however, it doesn’t appear to take selections.
Does the audio alignment tool work with selections also does anyone have any recommendations on workflow for this? My thought was basically to do an audio alignment to match up the speed and timing of the dialogue and then silence the main audio in the dialogue track and mix in the new, audio aligned. Does this seem like a good strategy?
