When I export audio in Dorico, the MP3 file always ends up in the most recently used “Flows From” folder. As a result, I often have trouble finding the exported file afterwards.
Sometimes Dorico even puts mp3s in other “Flows from” folders. I have more “flows from” folders than any other name on my drive now, full of mp3’s and xml’s.
Any advice would be much appreciated — thanks in advance!
I see 3 sections in the Export Audio window.
Flows - which flow, players etc.
Export to - the path where it will be saved to (which you can change)
Audio Export options - at the bottom of that window
(or are you referring to Dorico iPad?)
“Export to” is not the folder in which the mp3 will be saved. There will be a “Flows from” folder made, and sometimes, files end up in the wrong “Flows from” folder. Can I disable the creation of any “Flows from”-folder? If project names are a little similar, sometimes the mp3’s really get lost.
Sometimes the project name will be altered: My project “Symphony 1 - Extase” will get a folder “Flows from Extase” It’s weird ans unneccesary.
