Hey, I think I know the answer but cannot seem to find a definitive answer anywhere, if I crossgarde to Nuendo from Cubase, do I lose the ability to work in Cubase without purchasing another license first?

You lose nothing. If you own a post-dongle Cubase Pro 12,13,14,15, you have 3 licenses for use on 3 computers.
If you buy Nuendo 15 today (today is sep 17 2026) at the crossgrade price of $480, you receive 3 licenses for use of Nuendo 15 on 3 different computers…
and…
you keep your existing 3 CB licenses. Potentially operating 6 synchronized computers at a time. 3 with cubase…3 with Nuendo. Well …and also a 7th computer running a dongled Cubase 6

I don’t do it often, but I have indeed run 6 computers at a time in the cubendo daw farm here.
