Question about Cubase 14 new support for Windows dark and light modes

What does that mean? What new options are implemented? Can anyone explain this how it works as I did not noticed any visual difference from CB13… Thanks

I guess it means that Cubase now considers the dark/light mode setting of Windows. At least, I get dark menus when switching to dark mode in the color options of Windows 11.

In my honest opinion, the way it was implemented is a bit of a flaw…

It needs to be implemented as follows instead of being locked to the OS :
β†’ Add an option in Preferences (preferably a drop down menu) that includes the following choices :

☐ Light
☐ Dark
☐ Use device settings

This is the proper way to handle this feature.

I want to have light menus in Cubase without having to change it globally in my OS settings, because I like to use dark theme on my OS.
Even the apps on our smartphones have an option to choose between light and dark modes, independently of the OS settings, so this is doable on Cubase too.
