Question about play head indicator

Is there a way where whenever I hover my mouse over the top of the timeline to press play, a line goes down the whole timeline so I can see exactly where I’m about to hit play from?

Also, any way to make it to where it doesn’t matter where I put my mouse, it will just start playing wherever I click in the open timeline?

Hi,

Not, when you hover. But once you click (and keep the mouse down) and move the cursor left-right, you can see the common Playhead Cursor (down over all tracks).

Thanks! Any idea how to make it to where it doesn’t zoom in and out when I click and move left to right on the timeline?

Hi,

If the Zoom is the problem for you, you can disable it in the Preferences > Transport > Zoom while Locating in Time Scale.
