Question about Retrospective Record in Key Editor

Hello,

I use Retrospective Record 100% of the time. I never record MIDI via standard recording. When I’m in the Project Window and use Ret. Rec., Cubase automatically makes a new event region for what I recorded in. However, some times I’ll be in the Key Editor and use Ret. Rec. in which Cubase records the MIDI notes but doesn’t expand the event region. I have to manually drag the region boarder over. Is there a setting or preference I’m missing which automatically expands the region boarder?

If not, can this be a feature request please?

There’s no automatic extending of the MIDI Part, unfortunately (unlike with “regular” recording inside a MIDI Editor).
