Question about the control room in Cubase 9.5 -

I am new to using the control room in Cubase (not sure why!)

If I put Sonarworks Reference4 on as a control room insert, rather than as an insert on the master fader outputs, does that mean that I no longer need to disable it when I render the project?

Yes, the control room comes after the rendering engine, so to speak.

Also worth noting that Control Room enables you to have multiple sets of monitors, and each one can have it’s own Sonarworks plugin inserted. Control Room is perfect for use with ‘room correction’ software.
