I’m after a bit of advice really…
Here’s my setup: -
- Lenovo Thinkpad T470p, i7 quad CPU, 32GB RAM, WQHD screen. 1/2TB SSD, with Ultradock.
- Steinberg UR22
- Windows 10 Pro
- Cubase 8 Pro
- Native Instruments Komplete 10 Ultimate
- I will be purchasing a Komplete Kontrol S88 keyboard controller and a 4K monitor to extend to from the laptop’s screen.
I’m planning on installing Cubase on the internal SSD, but due to the size (380GB) of the full Komplete 10 Ultimate install, I’m considering installing that to an external 480GB SSD connected to the laptop(dock) via USB 3.
I’m then thinking of connecting another large external HDD via USB 3 for storing audio/projects on.
Does this sound like a good setup? Advice welcome! Thanks.
