Question: is there a way to make braces not scale automatically basted on how wide they are?

Hi everyone!
As you can see here in the image, I am getting this effect whereby braces (Line body stile: brace (left)) become thicker if they span over more notes. I don’t want this effect because it doesn’t look good for my analysis.

If you know a setting that can be changed to avoid this behaviour please let me know. Thanks a lot in advance!

I guess it would require a brace design that is made up with several parts, like in TeX (and the ‘square brace’(?) in Dorico)

Extending any (fixed) character non-proportionally will distort it.

You could create a couple of different ones with different thicknesses and control points.
