Question on sample rate

Hi,

if I record at 96Khz and the Asio driver of my sound card is set at 96Khz when I export at 44.1Khz does WL9 automatically apply a SRC?
Thanks

Hi,

No WaveLab will not sample rate convert by it self
you have to insert a Resampling plugin into Master Section and render
to a new audio file.

Yes, if you specify it in the file output format.
But this is not the best way to do it, as peak limiting and dithering won’t be applied.

I stand corrected

I tried to change the sample rate with the resamplig plug in in the master section but if my driver audio are set to a different one wavelab gives me an error. How can I avoid that?

Simply put another resampler in the Playback Processing section of WL and keep it there. Ofcourse be careful when to have it on and off so you know what you’re listening to before rendering.

I’ve found a way to autosync my ada8xr to wavelab sample rate automatically:)
